Founded in 2009 in Pasadena, California, Options United is a nonprofit charity operating a shared call center and marketing strategy. Since then, our hotline has handled over 150,000 crisis calls, producing more than 43,000 referrals and over 3,200 confirmed saves.

Surveys reveal that two-thirds of women who had an abortion would have chosen life if they had received even one encouraging word. That is why our trained staff responds with urgency and compassion, connecting women directly with the nearest life-affirming pregnancy center at the critical moment of decision.

We also assist mothers who have taken the abortion pill and immediately regret it. If they call within 48 hours, we connect them with medical support that can potentially reverse the pill and save their child.

Our model averages $25 per call, delivering a powerful return for every dollar given. Yet the need is growing. Mail-order abortion pills now account for over 70 percent of abortions, and in California alone, more than 179,000 abortions occur annually, fueled by $200 million in “abortion sanctuary” policies.
